Today, 27 march, is the first day of the project “Social me – lets be online”. It had already started,at 11.00, gathering 39 participants from 13 countries in Strelcha, Bulgaria.
"Social me - let's be online" is an Erasmus+ financed Training Course for experienced youth leaders from European countries, who are interested in introducing media as a tool in their organisations and in their work with young people. The project will last 9 days and participants from Bulgaria, Slovakia, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Greece, Estonia, Poland, Denmark, France, Serbia, Spain and Armenia are getting inlolved.
The project is focused on how internet and social media can be used for promoting active citizenship and youth enterpreneurship. "Social me" is provoked by the increasing level of importance of the online presence management as a work skill. Instant online interaction and quick adaptation to new technologies can facilitate both formal and informal learning and are already all over appreciated as a highly valuable skill. The training course will contribute to establish a long lasting partnership with other young persons and representatives of organizations that work with young people and children around Europe, providing space for project planning between organizations.
